Creative Journey
Behind Full Time Productions and Lamar Media Productions is Maria Marouda, with a creative journey connecting image, sound, storytelling, and strategic collaboration. Since the early 1990s, she began her journey in the field of audiovisual production, building a career focused on quality, consistency, and the aesthetic identity of her projects.
She took her first steps in film and television production alongside her mentor, the Greek producer Aimilios Konitsiotis, under whom she trained and worked as 1st Assistant Production Manager. Within the framework of this collaboration, she participated in Angeliki Antoniou's debut feature film "Donusa" (international co-production 1992), acquiring valuable experience in a demanding cinematic environment.
This was followed by her work at ANT1 as Production Manager for various in-house informational shows from 1992 to 1997. Subsequently, during 1998–1999, she created her own weekly television travelogue series titled "DAY NIGHT" across Greece, directing and producing for Alter 5 television.
Her initial steps in TV fiction came in the summer of 1995 with 4 episodes of the mini television series "THE COLORS OF LOVE" — Production Management for ERT1.
In 2000, she worked as 1st Assistant Production Manager on the popular TV series "TAKE CARE OF ME" for Mega Channel, subsequently embarking on a broader career path as Production Manager in various television, film, and commercial productions.
Today, through Full Time Productions, she continues her passion for creation, endowing her works with real and measurable social impact.
New Projects
Her career includes directing, producing, and editing specialized documentaries, films, social impact spots, and music videos with a strong cultural, historical, and handcrafted imprint:
- First Handcrafted Creation: "One Day... in the Roman Villa with a View" — Archaeological documentary filmed in Perachora, Loutraki during the challenging period of the Covid-19 pandemic in Greece in 2020, with the scientific support of Archaeologist & Excavation Director Dr. Zoi Aslamatzidou-Kostourou, her scientific-excavation team members, local authorities, and volunteers. (The film, although in post-production, has not yet completed its creative cycle).
- Documentation Documentary: "Memories of the Language" — Calabria, with the ongoing scientific collaboration of Social Anthropologist Dr. Christina Petropoulou, author of the scientific book "HOMER'S GRANDCHILDREN". The film realistically follows and observes the researcher returning to the field after 42 years of continuous work in the Greek-speaking villages of Calabria (the film is currently in development & fundraising phase).
